Corrected cache-busting so behavior is deterministic and consistent across pages. Diagnosed an actual OPcache and include interaction by testing, not guesswork. Confirmed correct behavior once server-side caching was properly accounted for. Restored consistent navigation behavior in the admin area. Fixed BACK link handling and restored a working hamburger menu. Admin pages now behave the same as non-admin pages. The system is now more stable and predictable than before this work began.

Established that the centralized PDO factory works correctly in practice. Converted multiple high-risk files to use it without introducing regressions. Eliminated recurring intermittent 500-level failures. Removed direct PDO instantiations and duplicated credential loading. Resolved ambiguous include paths and accidental HTML output in PHP code. Standardized include discipline across public and admin pages. Reduced the risk of environment-specific and order-dependent failures.

Validated admin footnote to verse tool attaches additional verses correctly

Verified marker links scroll correctly to the corresponding footnote

Added anchor targets to footnote list items to enable marker hyperlink navigation

Footnote marker numbering is chapter scoped and reused across verses

Markers appear next to verse numbers without altering scripture text

Implemented verse level footnote markers in chapter view
