My name is Richard Hollenbeck. God has blessed me with a great family. Through these various blog categories, I hope not only to spread the knowledge I have learned about my ancestors, but also to make it interesting to the average reader at the same time.

This is a very new site. I hope, over time, it will develop into a useful resource for thousands of other family members seeking to discover their roots.  I welcome your participation.

This is a genealogy website for my ancestors, for their descendants, and for anybody else who may be interested.  This site has actually been in existence for over two years, but I never really did anything with it.  Until now, it has basically been my sandbox for experimenting with ideas for my other websites.  Now I really want to build a genealogy site to showcase my family tree.  For anybody who is not familiar with ahnentafel files, it works like this.  #1 is me.  2 and 3 are my parents; 4 and 5 are my paternal grandparents; 6 and 7 are my maternal grandparents, etc.  It is like a pedigree chart without all the clumsy formatting.

There are some family lines which I intend to delete (after a point) because of my lack of evidence.  Those lines will be deleted this week.  Then I will provide an updated ahnentafel report to replace the following:
